Description
Sprite Flow is an AI-powered sprite and character-animation generator for game developers, designed to create production-ready sprite sheets with consistent style in minutes and no drawing skills. Instead of drawing each frame by hand, users describe a character or upload reference images, and the AI generates all animation frames.
From a single reference image, Sprite Flow produces 8-direction and 4-direction character turnarounds, top-down sprite sheets, batch NPCs, game props and items (weapons, potions, gear), and tile-based maps and scenes. It automatically slices frames and exports sprite sheets as PNG plus JSON metadata with frame positions and durations. To keep style consistent, users upload 3-5 reference images so the AI extracts the color palette, line thickness, and proportions and locks them across every generation.
Supported animation types cover movement (idle, walk, run, jump), combat (melee, ranged, magic, hit reaction, death), and advanced actions (crouch, roll, climb, swim, victory), with adjustable frame counts and frame rates. Art styles range from retro pixel art to modern 2D (cartoon, anime, hand-painted, cel-shaded), and custom styles trained on your own reference art, at resolutions from 16x16 up to 512x512.
Sprite Flow offers one-click export to Unity (sprite atlas, JSON, animation controllers), Godot (AnimatedSprite .tres resources), Unreal (Paper2D flipbooks), and generic formats like Texture Packer. Premium features include transparent-background export and high-resolution 2x/4x upscaling. Pricing starts free with daily credits and monthly plans.
